At Indiana University, Catherine has served as an Assistant Director with the renowned IU Opera & Ballet Theater; she also serves on the administrative production team. She directed UTRGV Opera Theater in Brownsville, Texas from 2016-18, where her productions were recognized by the National Opera Association, including first place for Orpheus in the Underworld (Offenbach) in the 2016-17 Collegiate Opera Production Competition.
